WESTERN MAINE TIMBERLANDS, INC.

Improving Timber for Tomorrow

About Us

In the summer of 1997, Western Maine Timberlands, Inc. (WMT) was founded by Marc Greaney. Marc gained valuable experience from a previous partnership, that not only gave him the drive to succeed, but also the goal of creating a first-generation company he could pass down to his children.

Today, WMT employs 13 individuals, ranging from office staff to our dedicated logging crew and drivers. We have many loyal employees who have been with WMT for over 20 years, and have witnessed our little company evolve into what it is today. Though we have grown, we take pride in maintaining a high-quality, personalized service for our clients. Our slogan "improving timber for tomorrow" signifies our commitment to practicing sustainable forestry management, as well as our desire to continue building appreciative, dedicated relationships with our customers.
